The best thing ever
According to the Post Office Branch Finder website, this branch is "Open today 08:00-20:00." Imaging my surprise when, around 19:20 today, I arrived with a parcel to drop off, only to be told that the Post Office had already closed. I pointed out the difference from the hours stated online and asked that they accept the parcel nonetheless (the delivery had already been bought, paid for, printed & attached) but was told this was impossible.
I went in to get cash out for the bus, I asked for a tenner and he took out 30 from the account. I almost walked out with only a tenner as that was what I asked for... then he took his time reading through the receipt and checking my card before letting me have the rest of my money and I missed my bus, making me late for my train, costing me 15... and my time...
